Project Overview

Seeking a local teen girl for the workshop production of 'Divided'.

About the Project

Set during the Civil War, this story follows the daughter of a wealthy Jewish merchant who aids a young African American woman in her escape from slavery. Their journey unfolds against a backdrop of a nation torn apart by race, religion, and politics, as Eleanor and Hanna confront war, loss, and betrayal in their pursuit of freedom.

Compensation

• $500 stipend
• This is a non-equity workshop production.

Dates & Deadlines

• In-Person Audition/Callback Date: February 28, 2026, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
• Performance Dates: April 29-30, 2026.

Location

• All rehearsals will take place on the Governors State University campus, with the workshop performance held at The Center for Performing Arts.
